Wanderlust is an International Mail Art project, site-specific installation and an Online Gallery that combines the use of traditional postal services and social media networks to initiate an ongoing and participatory travelling Nomadic Collection. 

Wanderlust : To Pernik with Love took place in Sofia, Bulgaria in June, as part of the Water Tower Art Fest. The works will then be presented at other Bulgarian Art Venues as from September 2015.

I sent over one of my drawings from the Envelope Series; it seemed appropriate to send a work in the format most suited to being posted! Letters are often sent in order to stay in touch with friends and family but now tend to be replaced more instantaneous emails, texts and such like. Lizzie Coleman-Link, an artist in her own right and the curator of Wanderlust, had been a good friend of mine over 30 years ago when we had both studied Art and Design in a Social Context at Dartington College of Arts. Following the course we went our separate ways and lost touch. Years later, through the power of social media networks, we have re-connected; a letter through the post, travelling through time and space, the marks of friendship and shared histories.
